Better known for being a permanent fixture on Paul Gilbert’s pedalboard, the TC Electronic MojoMojo is the overdrive pedal in TC’s now classic analog drive trilogy, alongside the Spark Booster and the Dark Matter Distortion. In this Quick Tones (no talk) video, we take a look at what this overdrive pedal can do, both with single coil pickups into a clean amp, and with humbuckers into a dirty amp.
As is customary with TC Electronic’s “hammerhead” series, the build quality is very good, and the design is now a classic – even though the colour might be off putting to some, it can be seen as a outside reflection of the tones this pedal can provide.
